AITech – Are you Serious? ProPC/TV works?

AITech ProPC/TV WirelessGadgets are a great way to get the blood pumping for a lot of us out there – and I am one of the first to admit it – and it takes a lot. The thought of using my laptop display 30 feet across the room from my plasma without wires really got my blood pumping as I sought to test out the AItech International ProPC/TV Wireless.

This baby is pretty cool, with two little boxes and convenient cables with well-thought out design beyond what would be necessary made this puppy seem like I was going to be relishing in gadget bliss. But maybe I spoke too soon. Continue reading

15 year old Girl Punched and Pepper Sprayed by Cop

It’s after curfew and the police approach you. You are a 15 year old girl. You claim you haven’t done anything.

Shouldn’t the police, say, drop you off at your house? Call your parents? Seems those kind of solutions are things of the past as this clip of a police officer attempting to cuff a 15 year-old girl (for breaking curfew) is met with whining and keeping her arm away from the officer. Then after the officer becomes rough, and occasionally looks up at the dash-mounted camera, she decides to bite the officer’s hand. He simply punches her in the face, then gets out his pepper spray, reaches around and sprays the product into her eyes only a few inches away. Watch. Continue reading

Net Neutrality with an Expiration Date

AT&T’s merger with BellSouth seems to have hit a little bit of a snafu – over ‘Net Neutrality.’ With some of the FCC members requesting a ‘four year’ requirement for open access without charging website operators fees. It seems, however, that some are considering to approve a two and a half year free ride as conditions of approving the merger.

Net Neutrality is nothing to pass over or even laugh off – it’s serious business – that can affect your enjoyment of the Internet now – and in the future. Say ‘YES’ to Net Neutrality and let your provider and Representatives know. We pay for access to the net – and the net has no ruler.
