Adhancer- use junk and spam email to generate revenue

AdhancerEveryone gets annoying emails. Spam, junk mail, advertisements…

Whilst visiting my favorite scripts site, HotScripts, I stumbled across a program I read about some time about in the news. Well, here’s the basic thing – Instead of having your spam only clutter your inbox, it can also serve another purpose – automatic website content generation. Yep, it’s a program to build a website full of spam.

Now, I think that there is a great business spirit here – using something that costs us processing and/or mind share to make money by putting ads on the pages – and making money by the click.

In order to find out more about AdHancer, I visited their site.

adhancer was developed to take those annoying emails and use them to generate ad revenue for you, the web site owner. We offer a live demo for you to review. What you will see is the emails that the web site receives daily. The emails are then automatically published as a web page and included in those pages are advertisements related to the email that you receive.

Your web site will grow on a daily basis and at the same time will get indexed in the search engines, which will bring you web site traffic.

So, now that we understand the goal and what the program can do, it’s pretty cool if you have webspace, spam and an AdWords Account from Google. Why anyone would spend $39.99 for this application is beyond me. First of all, if you check on the demo, you’ll see that all the content on the pages is full of extended ASCII characters, interspersed with the copy and HTML, plus seemingly a lot of extra junk.

Tonight, just to see what happens, I’m going to create a new mailbox for SPAM and misdirected email. Then, I’m going to have a blog publish all of this spam as it’s received and we’ll see what happens.

So, let’s set the parameters:

BLOG SOFTWARE: WORDPRESS 2.0.1 (THE LASTEST VERSION)

HOW YOU GONNA GET EMAIL: Built-in WordPress Function, redirect "default" mailbox on my webhost for all sites to a single box that is polled by WordPress on a regular basis, parsed and added to my blog.
GOAL: To get the site ranking on Alexa under 500,000 within a month, is it possible?

Stay tuned for the FINAL URL.
