Android on Meizu M9 causes massive Chinese turnout

Android is getting it’s day in China -Chinese in line for Meizu M9 - CREDIT: Gizmodo/Meizume the release of the Meizu M9, powered by Android 2.2, has people standing in line unlike anything we’ve seen here in the States, even for the iPad or iPhone, god forbid.

With the upcoming release of 4G devices for Verizon, we should expect some Android goodness, but I guess the mass numbers of people in China are reacting somewhat like I do to the hottest new Android based device.

I don’t know if I’d ever stand in like like these fools, however, I can understand their desire, want and need to have this device.  I nearly stood in line for the Droid X — and I’m still feeling a little shafted by the delays in the release for the updates in the O/S.  Now the rumblings of the first 4G Android from VZN is getting me excited.  But just a little.

      Sorry, no idea. A quick Google Shopping search turned up a few from oversea companies – may be the only option. May be a bit much for the common unlocked dealers around Miami. Good luck – let me know how it is!
