Alien Voice Box? No, not something I found laying in an open field, but instead on a site called “DIGITIZE.TEXTFILES” which has assembled a box of old technology mailers and scanned them for the historical purpose of saving the world.
Now, of course, many classic magazines have taken their content over to archive.org for long-term storage, but this mailer is a classic, showcasing advanced audio technology for your Atari computer.
TIME Magazine called it the:
“Machine of the Year!”
The VOICE BOX from the Alien Group enables any ATARI to say aloud anything typed on the keyboard in any language. It also sings “Amazing Grace,” “When I’m 64″ or anything else that anyone wants to teach it!
You could easily order this device for only $159 and try it for 10 days before deciding whether or not to return it. I mean, how could you not keep it with a voice game of STUD POKER? It must have been AMAZING!
