Stingray Live Birth Caught on Tape
Stingrays, those pesky little creatures that have seemed to become more angry in the last few years, deliver their young via live birth. No eggs, just live birth. I can’t say that I even knew that before, but was quite … Continue reading

Fast Company ran an article which detailed a collection of USDA WW II posters which were meant to influence the nation to produce more, conserve and ensure the US and their allies had sufficient supply to fight the war. But … Continue reading

Contextual Ads offer Options in Life – and Pot
The ads listed on a web page I recently visited run the full gamut for the visitor. I mean, all the ad knows is the contextual information regarding the page text. They aren’t sure of the user’s intent. While the … Continue reading
BPs lets the Oil Flow
BP is now planning to replace the current well cap with one which will allow them to capture more oil than was currently being captured. I don’t understand how the US Government can sit back and say NOTHING about a … Continue reading
Blobfish – Have my Fathers Been Foolin’ Around?
The Blobfish (Psychrolutes marcidus) is what can easily be described as the most terrifying thing I’ve ever seen – let alone fish. The fact that it has a very human-like face, complete with nose, two eyes, lips and a very big, bulbous nose (albeit droopy) – scare the living bejesus out of me.
Everybody Just Get Stoned
Today, after unwrapping my newest GQ magazine with the sexy Rihanna on the cover half-nekked, one of the cover stories got my attention: Why it’s not cool to get stoned anymore.” Okay, got my interest, let me see what this is all about. Interestingly enough, the article truly gave me some perspective on the current stance on marijuana in the country – heck, can I just call it pot for short? Continue reading
YouTubers Trip on RoboTussin – Cause Uproar
DXM – many may have never heard that term before, but it’s legal, it’s in your cough syrup – and kids have been getting high off of it for years. Only problem is, now they are putting their trippy experience popularized by Robotussin and thereby it’s nickname of “Robo”, on YouTube.
Hundreds of videos can be found which capture the experience of taking the cough syrup and other cold remedies then enjoying the ‘tripping’ experience it brings when overused. Before kids only told each other stories – if they told anyone. These days, the Internet makes things more enjoyable when you know you can share them with someone else – and you can share pretty much everything these days. Similar videos on YouTube of people using Salvia have sparked the issue nationwide and is now under consideration to be added to the list of scheduled drugs alongside cocaine and marijuana. Has the Planet of the Apes Awakened?
Delhi’s deputy mayor died on Sunday. SS Bajwa was attacked in India’s capital by a horde of wild monkeys according to a BBC report.
He suffered serious head injuries after falling from his home’s first-floor terrace Saturday morning trying to fight off the monkeys.
Delhi has long struggled to combat the monkey plague, which seem to invade government complexes and temples, as well as steal food and scare city dwellers.
This video shows how they simply run free throughout the city after being forced to enter the urban zone to find food – the video shows how they are developing their own territories within the city and defending it from intruders. Continue reading

The Environment – Poorly Treated – We Cannot Live
The Environment. It’s critical in our ability to – simply put – live.
What can be more simple to understand? If we continue to poorly treat the environment around us – the one which sustains and satiates our every need – it will no longer be able to do anything for us. Won’t be able to protect us from the harmful rays of the sun. Won’t be able to keep the polar caps frozen. Continue reading
