Ever have a project a work that piqued your interest? Made you want to work a little bit harder to help someone else that you could lend a helping hand too?

Ya, I’ve been there – in fact, I was there today – trying to make a innocent little campaign for another department something special – then you realize you are being used. The project manager leaves at 4PM while you look aghast – not understanding why he doesn’t want to see the project through. Then, his boss passes by and gives you even more reason not to help – after they threaten serious disciplinary action on one of their team members just for working on what the project manager’s boss terms ‘your project.’

First, not my project – it’s for another department – and I’m only trying to assist you in maximizing your ROI. But that – I guess – isn’t appreciated.

Patience – something we believe we all possess to some level, and as I have gotten older, I believe I am very patient in comfortable situations and extremely impatient in not-so-comfortable ones. Guess that pretty much goes for everyone as well, but sometimes you realize that you need to be just a little bit more patient – and tonight, I learned it from the Internet.

Yep, the Internet – that treasure trove of content and information, gossip and news – the things life is made of. I turn to the net for most everything – and sometimes it astonishes me how sometimes it takes the web for you to see what is right under your eyes.
