Okay, maybe I'm feeling a little bit "Jack Bauer," but dammit, someone needs to step up and solve this BP Oil Leak. It's pumping tons of oil into the ocean, killing millions of creatures (while providing food to others oddly enough), and making a thriving fishing industry stop dead in it's tracks.

So, here's my plan to solve the issue. Bomb the leak site, resulting in a collapse of the shaft, sealing the well. I'm sorry BP won't be able to get any oil out of it anymore, but hey, they've tried everything to capture the oil instead of just FIX the spewing open oil well. We have explosive experts who can do anything. Why not this?

Ever have a project a work that piqued your interest? Made you want to work a little bit harder to help someone else that you could lend a helping hand too?

Ya, I've been there - in fact, I was there today - trying to make a innocent little campaign for another department something special - then you realize you are being used. The project manager leaves at 4PM while you look aghast - not understanding why he doesn't want to see the project through. Then, his boss passes by and gives you even more reason not to help - after they threaten serious disciplinary action on one of their team members just for working on what the project manager's boss terms 'your project.'

First, not my project - it's for another department - and I'm only trying to assist you in maximizing your ROI. But that - I guess - isn't appreciated. Continue reading →
