When you team together Miami’s The Rock and Seann William Scott in a fast-paced action comedy, you can be assured there will be laughs and great action. Seann William, best known as a daff young college boy, plays the role again as a world researcher, seeking an ancient relic called the ‘Gato.’

I really wanted to tell people about the hot movie on tonight on A&E of all channels, The Andromeda Strain. Great movie about a terrible illness which threatens to end humanity. Good stuff. 9PM EST - A&E TV.

Well, from a marketer in the 21st century in this online era, I found it frustrating that I was not able to embed one single video clip to help them in their promotion by placing it right here in this article, but instead they had endless online content without any facility to embed, blog, link to or otherwise. Tasers are getting more and more coverage in the news with what seem to be innocent college students, and others, who are caught in their spark. Today, while asking John Kerry a question, a student was forcibly removed from the microphone and when he couldn’t quite understand why he was being led away forcibly, he was further detained, slammed to the ground, then with seven officers holding him down, he was taser-ed.

People - it’s time to let everyone know - this is OUR government and the police work for us. Although the incident is now under Police review - the community standard applies - and that would be you, me and the community. This was a horrible act on an innocent student. How much longer can we let these things happen?

Tonight the first episode of ‘Talk Show with Steve Fergeson’ aired on FOX. This new Saturday night at Midnight talk show seems to take the best of Jon Stewart’s Daily Show and Stephen Colbert’s Colbert Report sets, and tried to used the blue lights for a major dramatic effect. Why? Well, they don’t have much more - lack of budget according to Steve.

To supplement their quirky ‘Idiot Paparazzi’ skit, they ‘hired a local newsreporter’ to report on West Hollywood. The ensuing skit ends in ‘No matter where to you go in West Hollywood, they are cramming semen down your throat.” Nice.

Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, who’s shrieks of ‘crikey’ have rung out across the world’s television screens is probably the best known Australian in America aside from Crocodile Dundee. However today his life of playing in the wild was brought to a tragic end.

Recently the EFF joined an amicus brief filed in support of Sima in its battle against DRM-vendor Macrovision. In essence, Macrovision is trying to leverage the DMCA into a technology mandate, forcing all digital video products in the future to respond to its analog-era DRM system.

Macrovision’s “Analog Copy Protection” (ACP) technology is intended to degrade the quality of video copies made on analog VCRs. It does this by intentionally adding noise to the vertical blanking interval of analog video signals. This noise confuses the automatic gain control (AGC) circuit used by analog VCRs. In short, Macrovision’s ACP is an exploit against a weakness in analog VCRs. Thanks to Section 1201(k) of the DMCA, VCR makers are now forbidden by law from fixing the weakness, which means that analog VCRs have remained vulnerable to ACP. In other words, Macrovision’s ACP is an antiquated DRM technology that owes its effectiveness in the analog world to a government mandate.
