PS/3s are to be “left off” according to Sony – as a solution to their current problem of well, allowing anyone to connect to the Playstation network. Even people who attempt to play stand-alone games are told to piss off – for some unknown reason, it’s not possible, even though it’s a stand alone game.

You see, the world is now very highly interconnected. Just think of how many disruptions and delays are caused just by not having a cell connection on your phone. If you are using a real-time 3G based Navigation system, it peters out pretty quickly – your email, dead in the water – twitter updates, please – and you can’t even check in on FourSquare along the Everglades while crossing alligator alley (yes, this actually happened to me yesterday).

British comedy can go either way – and this time it’s a pure win. The In Betweeners, a BBC production, is about a bunch of highschool kids who are not really nerds and not really popular, they are just kinda stuck somewhere in between. Tonight I just finished watching the final episode of the 1st season, and there was a line that was precious. It’s the end of the night, the prom is over, kids are slowly drifting out, a school administrator with little tolerance for petty children crap is standing back assessing the overall situation to which he says:

“Well done children, a fairly innocuous jamboree of adolescent nonsense. Fear not, the relationships that some of you have entered into tonight, well, they may seem like everything now, but they’ll be over in a matter of weeks. “

It’s funny when you think about the massive amount of security patrolling the airports, the long lines, the patdowns and fullbody scans… Then, you realize those that are in the terminal overnight, hell, they have the run of the place.

Nothing summarizes this better than this video shared by a friend on Facebook, depicting an overnight stay at the Pittsburgh airport. And not only is it adorable, it’s TSA approved! Enjoy!

Like your entertainment a touch of super hero, intrigue, family drama and a bit of campiness to bring it all together? Archer, a new animated series on FX, is my latest find on Hulu – and it’s freaking awesome. The witty production will keep you laughing non-stop, and I’m not one for animated anything to watch, even though Hulu is filling up with them.

This show simply rocks – and the main character’s off-handed comments he mumbles to himself are ridiculous. In the scene where he walks in on his mother pleasuring herself under the desk while on the phone, when she raises her hand to her face she exclaims her son smells like a Russian Whore House, to which he replies..

Sorry BK, but while I was having a craving for your (only back for a limited time) Italian Chicken sandwich, I got the combo with the fries – even through I know the onion rings are better, but what the heck – and I’m so disappointed. I need a 3D Camera (like the one shown here, coming soon from DXG and the actual camera shown in the photo in this article) just to explain all the things about them I don’t like.

First, they taste like cardboard. Second, they are never “really hot.” Why, I dunno.

Twitter has reached celebrity status this week with CNN “breaking news” reporting Ashton Kutcher broke the 1 million followers mark on Twitter – then he was on Oprah this week teaching her how to use it – and she has. She has told us about her lunch, her sick dog – and America swoons. Getting over 80,000 followers in the course of 24 hours – Twitter is growing mainstream – even to the Denton Texas Police Department.
