Google News Undergoes Redesign leaves brains at home

Google NewsI’ve used iGoogle for about 7 years after leaving myYahoo after iGoogle did it better. I’ve read via Google news and iGoogle – ALL of my news for seven (7) years. Google tracks everything. They know how many times I read each story in my predetermined News configuration.

So when Google rolled out a news update, they have a convenient little bar that shows how your Google News Setup is progressing. Now, they want me to identify for them which news I read on a Never/Sometimes/Always basis. WTF, THEY ALREADY KNOW WHAT I READ!!!

This is a flaw. Google, I trust you to know what is best for me. You know what stories, genres, sites and headlines I like to read. You know what I click through to, what a read via FastFlip – can’t you customize my news for me after all this time?

Where’s the data intelligence here?
