Has the Planet of the Apes Awakened?

Delhi’s deputy mayor died on Sunday. SS Bajwa was attacked in India’s capital by a horde of wild monkeys according to a BBC report.

He suffered serious head injuries after falling from his home’s first-floor terrace Saturday morning trying to fight off the monkeys.

Delhi has long struggled to combat the monkey plague, which seem to invade government complexes and temples, as well as steal food and scare city dwellers.

This video shows how they simply run free throughout the city after being forced to enter the urban zone to find food – the video shows how they are developing their own territories within the city and defending it from intruders.

Have we incited the Planet of the Apes?
