I love the radio, and Dave Graveline – well, once you listen to him speak his first word – was made for radio. He’s got thatv voice, you know? I have had the pleasure of being on Into Tomorrow, the weekly Technology show which has about 2.3 million listeners, several times. I represent TigerDirect.com and the Systemax PC featuring the Intel Pentium and Centrino processors.
This week the topic was communication – and communicating these days usually involves the internet, right? Well, the broadcast today reflected the many ways in which communications are changing from the way they have been, and seem to be nearly all ‘interconnected.’
Dave Graveline’s Radio Show ‘Into Tomorrow’ is heard weekly for three hours coast-to-coast and also on the Armed Forces Radio Network – Tune in!
Dave is celebrating his Tenth (10th) season on the air – bring great levity and information through his daily updates and weekly 3 hour broadcasts.
Today, I joined several other guests on the show:
This discussion included great questions from callers on the road regarding wireless data service. The Verizon network clearly wins in this category – with the fastest network in 32 markets thus-far – EVDO is providing near broadband speeds, including video transmission, today. The best thing with Verizon is the way minutes/data are interchangable. It’s not by the size of the data, but the time spent using it. Cingular has announced that they will be rolling out the fastest data network in the world, so we’ll have to see what they have up their sleeve, which may have been something AT&T was working on long ago.
Join me on Dave Graveline again next month, when we will appear on the next “Computer Update.” Visit the website of my dear friend, Dave Graveline – Into Tomorrow! at http://www.intotomorrow.com or http://www.graveline.com Oh, and as Dave would say, make sure to visit http://www.tigerdirect.com/dave !
