Having gastric bypass surgery wasn’t the worst thing. In fact, as to my stomach, abdomen, pain (or lack thereof), it’s hard to tell I even had surgery (aside from the little pieces of tape still on my belly.
As far as eating and everything, learning what foods I can and can’t eat has gone pretty well. In fact, I tried some Wendy’s chili today as a quick lunch, and first of all it was delicious. Second of all, it went down really well. (and it has very few calories). There hasn’t been much so far that hasn’t gone well, which is an absolute blessing.
The pinched nerve, however continues to bother me, sometimes horribly. Going to see a specialist on Monday, cross your fingers for me. The best news of all though, is I have lost 39.4 pounds since the beginning of this process just a little over a month ago. That’s pretty awesome.
