Motorola and Verizon disappoint DroidX Customers

imageNot sure if anyone is listening, but if you are — LISTEN UP.  Die-hard ‘Droid fans ran out, dropping nearly $600 to get the Droid X at time of launch.  We were promised not only the hottest phone in Verizon’s roster with a great screen, we were promised Froyo, Android 2.2, and flash.  It was disclaimed it would be an OTA upgrade after launch.

Okay, so it’s after launch. The ORIGINAL Droid (yes, the phone I set aside to get the DroidX) is getting the Froyo upgrade.  Now, it’s so in our face that buyers of the DROID2 will get Froyo out of the box — WITH Flash support.

Am I the only one pissed off?  I plunked down a lot of cash for the best of the best — now I get to sit back and see other people get the upgrade — PROMISED TO ME! Verizon, Fix it!
