Persons Unknown is a new TV show I stumbled across on Hulu just over a month ago,
and each week cannot wait until the next for the continued story.
Here’s the show in a nutshell: A bunch of people are kidnapped from a variety of places, including mental hospitals, from parks, homes, nightclubs and even death row, and wake up in a hotel. Everyone is locked in their rooms and eventually they all get out — and wonder why each of them is there. Or when they can leave.
Set in a town full of stores and other buildings, it’s surrounded by an invisible force which keeps them inside. Sometimes there will be visits and others leave without a problem, yet the kidnapped can’t seem to find their way out. They make several attempts, all foiled by one thing or another. There is definitely a lot of mind games going on behind the scenes, and someone is always watching, seemingly from the multitude of cameras throughout the town.
