Gone from the public eye for quite some time (well, at least that I’ve
seen), our 80′s favorite character Bo Duke (of “The Dukes of Hazzard” for those of you not old enough to remember), John Schneider is now the lead character of the TV series Twentysixmiles on the USA Network. He’s a dad who decides to cast aside the world of corporate acquisitions and mergers for being in a band and living on Catalina Island, where he wife moved to escape him with his children.
It’s a pretty good show, and you can watch twentysixmiles on Hulu as well. Tonight, however I was watching the latest episode of Leverage and suddenly it was if Jack Kincaid (the Twentysixmiles character) was in the show. Yep, TNT has him making a guest star appearance on Leverage, and it just confused the heck outta me.
There have been several times in the past when shows had characters “visit” from another show, and they were always cool when they cross-interacted like that. I mean without Happy Days, there wouldn’t have been a Laverne & Shirley. Alice and Flo, All in the Family and Maude, as well as The Jeffersons — the list goes on and on.
This appearance confused me. Maybe I watch too much TV, but really John, do you need to work that much? Check out a preview of this weeks episode of Leverage after the break, or check it out on TNT.tv. I also threw in the 1st episode for kicks. Enjoy!
and each week cannot wait until the next for the continued story.
