TigerDirect Spins Black Friday as Charitable Pink Friday for charity money

Digg featured TigerDirect’s latest efforts to turn the biggest shopping day of the year – ‘Black Friday’ into something with a charitable cause. In support of Susan G. Komen for the cure, TigerDirect’s ‘PINK Friday’ will allow shoppers to make a difference in trying to end a devastating disease. One of the unique things about this event is TigerDirect, an online retailer, will broadcast a live show for the entire day.

According to my sources, the live broadcast will be something you do not want to miss. Participating vendor partners are offering up goods for donations during the broadcast – for 50% of their face value – there will be a limited quantity for each item, and the first X number of callers/emailers will be able to get the product. The list seems to include things like Pink Sony VAIO notebooks, Lenovo ThinkPads with facial recognition security, LCD TVs, wireless keyboards, and much more. To learn more, visit PinkFriday.org.
